WAR, THE ETERNALLY RECURRING FATE from the series ‘Brave new old Worlds’

                                                              War widows 2024

War: a catastrophe deemed impossible, which suddenly occurs, overwhelms us, seems unbelievable, a relic from the distant past, yet takes shape and begins to unfold like the tongue of a crocodile and teeth that bite simultaneously. Are we in the 21st century?

Nothing will change for humanity. Evil exists and grows again and again through the flowers like terrible weeds that destroy everything: poisoning, erasing and destroying humanity. It is twofold. It is part of the unstable human being. It corrupts its own fabric and then that of a large number of others. The good turn against the good in bewilderment. The generation gap is exploited, parents against children, full of disbelief. Have they never learned to think critically? Unfortunately!

Evil exists, scientists have found, it is real, just as eyes and ears exist. Evil rejoices in the suffering of others, gloats over pain, sadness, inhumanity, is sadistic and knows no empathy, only pleasure in pain and inflicting suffering and destruction. That is why it keeps reappearing. Is it a disorder or inherent in human nature? Probably the latter, judging by humanity's destructive urge, the greedy, the powerful, the insatiable who lack humanity, just as the cosmos has destructive forces that cannot be stopped.

Humanity is special, divine, good, heartwarming and fragile, like a defenseless child.

We must be vigilant.

The horrors that are now reaching us are insane. Children and mothers are being shot at with artillery, a devastating force. How can you do such a thing to people in the 21st century, innocent, defenseless, vulnerable people? The arsenal of destruction is no longer in proportion to our inhibitions and the capabilities of our minds. (We have few restraints; we were social creatures from the beginning, had no dangerous organs, so we did not need them.)

But we have devised our monstrous weapons and cannot control them.

It will destroy humanity, as Goya once claimed.

Deeply moved by such events, I have captured many of them in images as a warning. The escalation can also be seen over the years. Will this end badly for humanity?
