HADES OF THE 21st CENTURY, is this the life of today?
Fire everywhere. People long for the light that will give them back their freedom. In Greek mythology, the story is different.
Why is all this happening?
Where fleeting moments of bright warmth mingle with the cool whisper of oblivion.
The spirit of evil is out of the bottle in the 21st century: literate, greedy, cunning, calculating, criminal, animalistic, false, in short, horrific! Man!
Or is it human nature? Still at an animalistic level? What is literacy for? Where is the challenge of the mind?
I wander here in Hades, the dark world of greed and money. The good God is dead. He was not always so.
Love and generosity are like a gentle mother who gives to her child without expectation, without demand, simply for the blissful feeling of happiness. Where has all that gone?
Has it been killed by the spirit of having, possessing and excess?
Why does everyone want to inflate themselves to be bigger than they are? Why not be who you are? Striving to move forward, to improve, to achieve justice and fulfilment is a blessing, not a utopia.
In good spirits, it hovers like a warm cloud, a good gift around their being. In evil spirits, only calculation, prestige and deceit. Disturbed spirits of sadism.
This is how I ended up in the Hades of the 21st century, a dark place of abuse and injustice, superficiality and money-counting, deceit, killing innocence, childish tendencies with evil, primitive reptilian behaviour. Where is humanity?
