SOLITUDE (01) Loneliness is not the same as being alone.

This lonely woman walks in a cruel environment of snow, cold and desolate forests that is a struggle for life. It is symbolic of the difficult path of our existence. Loneliness is part of the human condition and is hard to bear. What happened to her? Do we feel empathy?
Loneliness is not the same as being alone. For example, you can feel very connected to someone on the other side of the world, but you can also feel very lonely while surrounded by other people.
